As May marks Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Pronto is proud to honor and celebrate the rich cultural legacy and contributions of the AAPI community. This month, discover the culinary treasures of San Francisco’s AAPI heritage with local featured purveyors Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee, Indian Bento, Oodaalolly, Burma Love, and Epicurean Solutions.

“We are thrilled to celebrate AAPI Heritage Month by showcasing the incredible talents and contributions of our featured purveyors,” said Marketing and Design Lead James Garcia. “Each of these purveyors brings a unique perspective and culinary expertise to Pronto, allowing travelers to experience the rich tapestry of AAPI cuisine without even leaving the airport.”

Founded by lifelong friends Michelle Tu and Stanislav Kroll, Daybreak Vietnamese Coffee captures the essence of traditional Vietnamese coffee with its bold flavor and signature sweetness. Roasted with butter over an open wood-fire using 100% robusta beans from Dalat, Vietnam, Daybreak Coffee offers a memorable and authentic Vietnamese coffee experience.

Indian Bento is a sought-after purveyor of Bombay street food-inspired Indian delights, bringing an upscale twist to traditional flavors. Founded by Pashmina Ochani, Indian Bento’s ready-to-eat meals, including favorites like Saag Paneer Roti and Chana Masala Roti, are a testament to the vibrant culinary culture of Mumbai.

Oodaalolly is a rapidly growing AAPI-owned confections brand that creates award-winning chocolate exclusively using Philippine-sourced cacao. Founded by Swiss-Filipino-American entrepreneurs Hernan Lauber and Jeremy Burnich, Oodaalolly combines time-honored family recipes with Swiss techniques to produce chocolate that captivates the senses.

Burma Love, with locations in the Mission and Downtown San Francisco, has been bringing the flavors of Burma to the Bay Area for two decades. Burma Love Foods’ mission is to produce a full range of high quality and delicious Burmese food products to enable customers to enjoy the flavors of Burma Love.

Epicurean Solutions is known for its small-batch artisan salads with adventurous flavor profiles, bringing a fresh perspective to airport dining. With a focus on creativity and quality, Epicurean Solutions offers vegetarian travelers a taste of bold and exciting flavors in every bite.

Pronto partners with purveyors from the San Francisco Bay Area’s many distinct neighborhoods to offer a curated menu of specialty local provisions, and is proud to feature these AAPI purveyors in their two Terminal 3 stores. A third location is planned for Terminal 1 in the summer of 2024. The Pronto GoGo! mobile marketplace is open now in SFO’s Terminal 2 baggage claim level.
